The smallest, youngest, and closest of the three stars, Proxima is the closest star, and most definitely doesn't support life. However there may be planets around it. It is located at a right ascension of 14h 29m 42.94853s and a declination of −62° 40′ 46.1631. It contains elements like in the other Alpha Centauri Stars, with abundance of heavy elements, most abundant being Oxygen.
